People's Linen, founded in 1925, was once known as a "wet laundry.” The laundry (clothing and linen) was picked up, washed and delivered clean, yet un-dried for the people of the local area.
Originally located in Rutland, Vermont, People’s Linen moved to Keene about 1940 and thereafter began to carefully evolve into the sophisticated linen service company that we are today.
In the 1960's, People’s was given the opportunity to provide linen service to a ski resort. This led to the transformation of People's Linen into today’s professional, textile rental service.
